John Luigi Ferri, 55, killed eight people and  wounded six others before committing suicide at an office building at 101 California St. in San Francisco on July 1, 1993. Apparently dissatisfied with the legal services he had received from the law firm that represented him, he entered their offices on the 34th floor of 101 California Street at 2:57 PM and within 4 minutes had killed 8 people and wounded 6. He then is reported to have killed himself.

TORONTO - Police said a lawyer demonstrating the safety of windows in a downtown Toronto skyscraper crashed through a pane with his shoulder and plunged 24 floors to his death.

A police spokesman said Garry Hoy, 39, fell into the courtyard of the Toronto Dominion Bank Tower early Friday evening as he was explaining the strength of the building's windows to visiting law students.

Hoy previously had conducted demonstrations of window strength according to police reports. Peter Lauwers, managing partner of the firm Holden Day Wilson, told the Toronto Sun newspaper that Hoy was "one of the best and brightest" members of the 200-man association.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A veteran Kern County assistant district attorney, Stephen M. Tauzer, 57, was found stabbed to death inside his garage.

Tauzer, a 27-year veteran of the district attorney's office, was a prosecutor of high-profile murder cases. He was also instrumental in the investigation of misuse of public funds that led to grand jury indictments against the police chief and a city councilman in the tiny town of Arvin, California.

A friend of Tauzer's found the body lying in a pool of blood inside the garage around 3 p.m. He had grown concerned because he had not heard from Tauzer for several days. A knife also was found at the scene. Tauzer had been stabbed in the head and suffered other trauma.

Investigators found no forced entry into the home and there was no preliminary evidence that anything had been taken.

Clinton Impeachment Lawyer Dies

WASHINGTON - Charles Ruff, the powerful Washington lawyer who represented President Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal and his impeachment trial, died Sunday.

White House spokesman Jake Siewert said President Clinton was told that Ruff had died after an accident at his Washington home. Details of the accident were not available.

I was reading the letter that one person wrote in which they could not see the humor in anyones death. I don't know about you, but I sure will be happy as a clam to see Charles Manson kick the bucket. I had a party when Jeoffery Dahmer went to push up the daisies. I know...I know you think you can't compare a lawyer to a serial Killer. Hum.... let me think about that. As a matter of fact I can. What about the tobacco lawyers, and the lawyers who defend murders successfully who are then convicted again of a murder. Hum....Don't you think that it is the lawyers (which by the way is the only profession you absolutely MUST lie in order to be successful) that ruined our great country, taking advantage of a system as wonderful as ours? I Sure do. They will tell you, "that's the way the system works" Liar. Lawyers are the pond scum equivalent to a nutless (Cowardly) serial killer. There I said it. Oh yeah and they ALL have the morals of a cabbage (if they still practice law).

WHAT? This goofball is comparing a Doctor and a Priest to a Lawyer? Come on man, get a clue!! That is like comparing sugar and Nutrasweet to Vinegar.
